Dog Boots & Socks
Dog footwear covers two very different jobs: grip indoors and cover outdoors. In this collection you'll find knit socks with straps and grip print for hard floors, holiday and leopard print socks, rubber pull-on latex boots, drawstring rain booties with grip soles, knit sock boots with rubber soles, breathable mesh summer shoes, full-leg suspender boots and a 20-pack of disposable waterproof paw covers.
Measuring paws
- Have your dog stand on a sheet of paper with full weight on one front paw.
- Mark the widest points on each side, then the tip of the longest nail and the back of the pad.
- Compare width and length with each product's size chart. Front and back paws can differ, so measure both.
Choose socks for indoor use on tile and wood, mesh shoes for warm-weather walks, and rubber or waterproof boots for rain, mud and snow. The full-leg suspender boots cover more of the leg for messy days outdoors.
Getting used to footwear takes practice. Start with a minute or two indoors, reward with treats, and slowly add time. Most dogs walk a little funny at first, and that's normal.
Tip: wipe and dry boots after wet walks, and wash socks in a laundry bag so the straps don't tangle.
